| Gnomes first appeared in European folklore as benevolent creatures who rewarded the good behavior of farmers merchants and housewives with assistance in fields shops and gardens at night. These tales inspired Phillip Griebel to create tiny statuaries in the middle of the nineteenth century to decorate gardens. These little guys have changed over the years to reflect current interests and now you can be rewarded with this Ohio State gnome!
